Getting to Seaclose Park
The Isle of Wight Festival runs every June at Seaclose Park on the outskirts of Newport. It's one of the UK's oldest festivals and the island's biggest event of the year — which means every taxi on the island is booked solid by late April. If you're coming over on the Wightlink from Fishbourne or the Red Funnel from East Cowes and need a transfer to the site, the time to book is now, not the week before.
We cover pickups from all four ferry terminals — Fishbourne, East Cowes, Yarmouth, and Ryde Pier Head — as well as from hotels, campsites, and self-catering accommodation across the island. Drop-off is at the main festival entrance on Seaclose Road. We know the traffic patterns during festival week and we route accordingly.
Groups and late-night pickups
Festival transfers work best as group bookings. Up to 4 passengers in a standard vehicle, and we can arrange back-to-back runs for larger groups. Give us your arrival ferry time and how many people, and we'll confirm a price and a driver.
Late-night and post-headline pickups are available but must be booked in advance — on the night is too late. We're not a private hire app and we don't do surge pricing; you'll know the fare before you travel.

What if I don't know my exact arrival time yet?
Book with an approximate time and call us to confirm once you've booked the ferry. We hold the booking.
Can you pick up from the ferry terminal?
Yes — all four terminals: Fishbourne, East Cowes, Yarmouth, and Ryde Pier Head. Tell us which crossing you're on.
Do you do late-night festival pickups?
Yes, but these must be booked in advance. On-the-night requests during festival week are rarely possible.
What about the return trip?
Book both legs at the same time. If you need a ferry connection back, tell us your sailing time and we'll work backwards.
